Five of TSC’s direct-thermal desktop printers and two of its thermal-transfer industrial printers have been certified by healthcare-systems giant
Cerner Corporation for use by its worldwide customer base, which includes more than 2,700 hospitals and 4,150 physician practices.
Receiving Cerner’s stamp of approval were the following TSC printers (Note all printers installed into Cerner environments require Ethernet capabilities):
The certification process was extensive. The printers (all meeting Cerner’s Ethernet requirement), were subjected to rigorous testing by Cerner’s Technology Certification Lab (TCL), earning high marks that now qualify them for use in any health care facility using Cerner systems or software.
